Register to Swim
There are three ways to register:
- Register online using your credit card from this website
- Print out the registration form (pdf), fill it out, and send it along with
the registration fee to:

Oakland, CA 94609 - Register by fax. Fax the completed registration form (PDF) and include your credit card information. Fax the registration form to: 510/601-4045.
- Adult - $35
- 18 & under - $25
- 55 & over - $25
- Family (a group with 5 people or less, $600 fundraising minimum) - $50 per family
- Team (a group with over 5 people, $1,500 fundraising minimum) - $100 per team*
*Team registration fees will be shared by all members of the team. The team captain will register the team and indicate how many team members there will be.
Registration fees are nonrefundable.
Important Notes
- Pledges must be collected online, sent by mail prior to the event, or brought to the event.
- All swimmers MUST raise $350 in pledges. Families MUST raise $600 per family in pledges. Any shortfall of the $350 per swimmer or $600 per family fundraising requirement will be auto-debited on November 19, 2010, from the credit card account given at registration. Your credit card will not be charged unless you have not reached your minimum by the final fundraising deadline, November 19, 2010.
- We request that you pre-register for a specific swim time. You do not have to stay for the entire day or weekend.
- There will be a maximum of four swimmers per lane.
- If you wish to swim with your friends or family, please be sure to sign up for the same swim date and time. Spots are limited.
- Organize at least four swimmers to create a team. There is no maximum number of team member. Register individually. Each person can swim a portion of a mile or a full mile. Then, total your fundraising efforts and qualify to earn team prizes. Please indicate team name at time of registration. The Swimming With Your Swim Team page has more information.
- If your competitive swim team (summer, REC, USS, masters, high school) would like to participate as a team, please contact 510/601-4040 x 105 for more information and to register. The Swimming With Your Swim Team page has more information.
- Cancellations: We have a limited number of spots and usually sell out. If you register and find out that you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can allocate your slot to another swimmer. If you cancel prior to Friday, September 3, 2010, your credit card will not be charged the fundraising minimum of $350 or $600 (less any amount that you fundraised). If you cancel after Friday, September 3, 2010, your credit card will be debited the $350 or $600 (less any amount that you fundraised).
